Kenzie Turns One

We had a great time in Austin last weekend celebrating cousin Kenzie's first birthday! It is hard to believe she is already a year old. We also were lucky enough to see Big Brother Brady play tee ball. It was adorable, and his team did so good! I'm pretty sure they won. :)

Brad was hunting, so I loaded up the boys in Grampa Rollie's truck and headed out Saturday morning. I don't think Grampa knew what he was getting into when he volunteered to drive. Wyatt has a pretty wicked scream. He wore me out this weekend with his screaming and running in the street multiple times. This country boy has no idea what a real neighborhood is like, much less what a street is. Little toot knows what "no" means though, and took off for the street anyways. I can already see trouble up ahead with this red head!

The Weekend

We went collecting pinecones on the property.

We walked and ran the walking trails with friends.
We walked up and down hulls for two hours, and Braylon literally ran most of it. I keep telling Brad we need to sign him up for cross-country. He was drenched in sweat and fell asleep as soon as we got in the car.
We spent all day Saturday at the baseball fields watching Gage play baseball.

We ate lunch at Applebee's before heading back to the field for Game 2.

The second game was during nap time so Linus, I mean Braylon, had to bring his blankie. Gross. Thankfully, he didn't carry it around the whole time.

Braylon found a group of kids to play football with and Wyatt followed him around like he was involved in the game too.
 Still following Bubba...
Still following...
 Sweet moment,  but still following...

It was a fun weekend watching baseball with the boys, Aunt Bonnie, and Nana. We even had some surprisingly cool weather!

Girls Trip

I planned a girls trip to Gruene last weekend to celebrate my friend Hayley's birthday and her being in remission. After about a year of chemo treatments, constant doctor's appointments, radiation, then having a newborn daughter plus a three-year-old daughter, Hayley really needed a break and time to enjoy life cancer free.

We had a blast eating out, relaxing at the condo pool, shopping, floating the river and going to Gruene Hall. The weekend flew by, and we all can't wait to do it again!
We were the first ones to arrive at the condo, so we took this to show the other girls we WEREN'T having fun without them.

Morgan at me at the Gristmill

Talk about some Texas - sized onion rings!

Dinner at the Gristmill was delicious! Left side, front to back-Lauren, Kathy, Erica, and Janet. Right side, front to back-Hayley, Rachel, me, and Morgan

I wish we had used a real camera for this. Flash was not bright enough.

Me, Rachel, Angela, Erica and Hayley at Inferno's Pizza Friday night

Me and Erica Sunday morning. Can you tell I didn't get enough sleep?!?

Bright and early Sunday morning...cleaning and packing to head back home.

Poor Hayley hurt her head

Outside Cantina Del Rio's after eating lunch Sunday. About to hit the road, San Marcos outlet mall bound!
Morgan and I at dinner Friday night.

Outside Gruene Hall. Gary P. Nunn was playing that night.

The Sweetest Thing

This is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. Wyatt fell asleep in the Ranger as we rode through the woods, and Braylon took him under his wing when he just couldn't hold his head up anymore.
