Dad's 50th Birthday

We went to Rockwall this past weekend to surprise my dad and throw him a surprise party.  He had no clue we were coming, but the party was almost ruined when he had to work.  Thankfully, we were able to get him to the party and it ended up being a lot of fun.
Me, Colton, my Aunt Mary, Braylon, and my Dad

We got him a fly fishing kit with rod, reels, flies, and a magazine with info. all on fly fishing.  The two guys behind my dad are my cousins, JD and Cody.

I couldn't believe Braylon fell asleep at the bowling alley.  There were lights, music, TVs, and loud noises from the bowling balls hitting the floor and the pins.  It's nice to know we can take him places and he'll still nap peacefully.

My cousin, Cody, and his wife, Lindsay

Garrett and Colton(both are my second cousins)
Colton was checking out my Dad's fishing stuff.  He LOVES to fish and goes with his Dad (my cousin, J.D.) ALL the time!  His dad actually had to leave early for a fishing tournament, and Colton cried when he couldn't go with him.

Garrett LOVES Braylon!

Colton was being camera shy.  Isn't he just the cutest little thing?!? :)

Funny Noises

Braylon will try to mimic us all the time.  We got him doing this deep voice and now he does it all the time.  He sounds like he's growling.  It was not my intention to make him sound like a little monster, but it is kinda funny!  This is just two instances among many, all in the same day, that he was making this "scary" sound.  The noise I'm talking about is about 18 seconds in on the first video.

Happy Baby

I was telling him to say "Hi Daddy!"

"I just got through spilling apple sauce all over the floor, haha!"

Tickle, tickle

"Feet are cool!"

This was taken a couple hours after he had his shots...surprisingly happy considering the previous event.

4 Month Check-Up

Today Braylon had his 4 month checkup and shots.  He weighed 15 lbs 9 oz(50-75th percentile) and was 27 1/4 inches long(above the curve, so I guess 100th+ percentile).  It looks like he's going to be tall!  Head circumference was 16 1/2 inches(50-75th percentile).  He said the heart murmur sounded softer and was happy about that.   The doctor also said he was very strong and ahead of where he should be in terms of development.  He had two shots and one oral vaccine.  He didn't cry at all on the first shot, then turned bright red and cried on the second one.  Thankfully, he was over it fast.
Since Braylon was holding his head up so well, the doctor said that it was fine to go ahead and start baby food.  Brad went straight to the store afterwards and loaded up on baby food!  I'm sure he's anxious to lower the cost of formula we have to buy each week.  Anyways, we tried bananas first and he liked them.

Braylon's Best Friends

Braylon and I went for a walk last night, and when we stopped for a little while, the dogs checked him out.  He loved them!  It was too cute!  Here's Braylon and Hoss...

Gus with Braylon-  Gus seemed to be the most interested in Braylon.  He came back several times to sniff and lick him :)

Braylon's 4 Months Old

Memories & Milestones this Month:  rolled over from back to stomach, started jumping in Jumperoo, tried rice cereal, started sleeping through the night, laughs when you tickle him, two bottom teeth started to come in, 2 haircuts already, road trip for Uncle Blake & Aunt Krista's wedding, started grabbing his feet, blows bubbles all the time, and loves his doggies.

Blake Gets Hitched

We went to D'Hanis, Texas this past weekend for my twin brother's wedding.  It was about a 4 and a half hour drive and Braylon did great the whole way there and back.   He also did great the whole weekend being passed around to everyone, thank goodness! Here's a few pics from the wedding.
