Doctor's Appointment

Yesterday we had another doctor's appointment, and an ultrasound.  Braylon weighed 5lbs 11oz!!  We couldn't believe how big he was already, especially since Brad and I both weighed less than that when we were born!  The ultrasound tech. said he had a fat belly and long legs.  She also showed us some hair on his head.  We were also told he was measuring at 35 weeks gestational age, and I am only 33 1/2 weeks along.  Maybe that's a sign that he'll come early!  All I know is I hope that he doesn't get much bigger!  The doctor said everything looks good, and that we have a good-sized baby in there :)  I'd definitely say so!  We go back in 2 weeks, then once every week after that.  Here are a couple of pictures of Braylon:

Here is our chubby little guy with his mouth wide open!  We also saw him trying to suck his thumb.  I don't think we'll have any problem getting him to eat as he gets older :)

Baby Shower

My mom & my sister threw me a baby shower this past weekend in Huntsville.  It was a tea party theme and it turned out great!  We got lots of good stuff for Braylon, too!

Christmas in Rockwall

We celebrated Christmas with my family New Year's weekend.  We ate lots of food, opened lots of presents, played poker, Yahtzee, and the Wii, and my little sister, Bonnie, got engaged!

December Baby Bump

We went to the doctor for our monthly checkup on December 27th, and everything went well.  Here's the most recent picture of me and baby Braylon.  I am starting to feel like I'm going to pop!  8 and 1/2 more weeks to go!

Christmas at the Volker's

 Brad's family came to our house this year for Christmas.  Dar, Rollie, Ali, Andy, Emily & Bob all loaded up the kids and presents and spent the weekend in Huntsville with us!  We had a good time.  Check out all the presents!



Brady got lots of fun toys, but I think his favorite was the truck towing a boat from Grandma Dar.



Elle loved her Rapunzel dress we got her, and she looked so cute in it!

Our new addition to the family from Ali and Andy- his name is Hoss.  He looks a lot like our chocolate lab Gus, and loves swimming in our pond with Duke & Gus.  I think he'll get used to living here in no time.
