Snow? Really?!

It snowed here today, and quite a bit actually! At least that brought a little brightness to this cold, dreary and chaotic day.

What Are You Thankful For?

This Thanksgiving lunch/party at school last Friday. Good times.
The turkey fruit kabob I made for his class.

this Is , Braylon's little buddy, Gunner, who he actually knew before he started to go to this school. Such a cutie pie :)

Gunner's baby brother, Kannon, sat and chilled with Wyatt in the back of the class.  Enjoy it while you can sweet little babies!

I love this! Braylon made this thankful wheel in school, and he said he was thankful for nana & papa, mommy, daddy, his teacher, Wyatt, Braylon and friends. :)

Mischief?

Wyatt got a handful of Braylon's hair and looks like he's enjoying it a little too much. :)

Wyatt and Daddy

"Hey Dad, why Is it taking me so long to sign up for this Obamacare? I started eight days ago and I'm still waiting!"

"Well thanks for filling me in, Dad. You're so wise."

Brad's Bday Weekend

We celebrated Brad's 36th birthday on Friday with our boys, Gramma Dar, Emily and her kiddos, Luke, Tate and Elle. The weekend flew by, but we enjoyed watching all the cousins play outside and in Braylon's cool fort!

Tate spent ALL weekend riding Lightning McQueen...and a lot of time getting stuck.

Dentist

This morning Braylon took his first trip to the dentist. He loved watching all the fish in the tank while we were waiting. I took him back when they called his name, but didn't stay with him. They like to take the kids back by themselves...not sure why. Maybe they behave better. Anywho...I only got a couple pictures but the ladies on staff said he did phenomenal. He has no cavities, which wasn't a surprise, since he loves to brush his teeth. He even cried when we got home and wanted to brush but couldn't. It's not easy explaining to a two-year-old that the flouride on his teeth had to sit for 24 hours.
They had a cool fish-themed waiting room with books, games, toys, movies, and fish tanks. We even saw Dori and Nemo :)
 ,
We all laughed when Braylon actually tried to brush his teeth with the giant toothbrush

Fort

We built a fort this morning and read books inside, since it was a little too cold to be outside. I'd say we did a pretty good job building our fort with blankets.

Baby Buddies

My friend, Lauren, has three boys (bless her heart), and two are the same ages as Wyatt and Braylon. Baby Kannon and Wyatt are three weeks apart.

Hook 'Em Horns

Thanksgiving is right around the corner but we're more concerned with Christmas. We already broke out the Christmas jammies :)

Pardon the delay folks...

Our internet has not been working, but now we're back in business. Enjoy about five new posts below....

5 Months Old

Wyatt has grown a lot the past month and is such a big boy. He is strictly on formula now and also has baby food. He eats stage two baby food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and also has five or six 4-6 ounce bottles a day.  He hasn't slept great since he got sick a month ago and stopped breast feeding, but he's finally starting to get back on track. He naps 30-45 minutes in the morning and sometimes three hours from noon to 3:00! Then he'll go to bed around 8:30 and sleep til 7:45.

Some milestones he has accomplished this month are sitting up on his own, getting on all fours like he wants to crawl, and putting his toes in his mouth....although, that last one may not really be a "milestone." ;)  He's a pain to dress and diaper, because he can't sit still. Reminds me of a couple other boys I know...Braylon and Daddy.

Him and Big Brother get along great now, and Braylon loves making Wyatt laugh.  It is the cutest thing when Wyatt chuckles hysterically at something silly Braylon does. Braylon will talk to him, play with him, and is always trying to make him laugh. I can't wait to see how they play together a year from now!

LOOK OUT MOM! I'll be crawling before ya know it.

I can sit up ALL BY MYSELF1

7 Acre Wood

We went back to 7 Acre Wood this year with some friends, and Braylon enjoyed every minute of it.  He got to pet animals in the petting zoo, play on a big ship, push trucks in the sand, throw balls with Gunner, and walk through the pumpkin patch. He also followed some big kids to the zip line, but mommy reeled him back in.  Maybe next year, son. It's always fun here because that have so many things for the kids to do. They never get bored.

Pumpkin Patch

This was a while back, but since our Internet hasn't been working, it's just now making its way to the blog. Wyatt was asleep when we got there, so he wasn't too smiley. And Braylon was just a boy in a pumpkin patch. He picked out three pumpkins; a big one for Daddy, a tiny one for Wyatt, and another small one for himself.

Halloween

This year, Braylon went as Sully and Wyatt was Mike Wazowski from the movie Monsters, Inc. and/or Monsters University. Braylon's was a store bought costume, which he LOVED, and I made Wyatt's. We went to one festival on the square the weekend before Halloween and we will never do that again....let's just say free candy brought out an interesting crowd. On Halloween night, we went to Suzy and Tommy's where Braylon had forty seven suckers, and we also did a little trick-or-treating in their neighborhood. It was a beautiful night and a great time out with my boys.

Braylon's First School Performance

Braylon had a school fundraiser where each class put together and auctioned off some awesome themed gift baskets. They also sold candy jars and pictures the kids made. It was a lot of fun seeing all of his art, watching him sing on stage, and then making a trip to Candy Land. They had a candy bar with all sorts of treats, some games, and a photo booth. Braylon did not want to leave. *There's supposed to be a video of him singing but it won't upload. I'll keep trying because it's too cute not to share.*
