Batter, Batter Swing!

This is what Braylon asks to do every morning when we go outside....
Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

Walking like a Pro

Wyatt has been walking everywhere now and no longer crawls. He's still a little wobbly at times but other times he can just about run. Won't be too much longer and I'm sure he will be running and trying to keep up with Bubba.

Blueberry Pickin'

For the past couple of years I've been wanting to go blueberry picking at this farm in Conroe. Well this year I finally got around to going, and it was a good time with the boys and Grampa Rollie. Braylon was so excited that Grampa Rollie got to come with us. Wyatt and Braylon were great helpers and even hung in there when it was pretty darn hot out.  Next time we will have to go much earlier when it's not so hot outside. Nonetheless, we all enjoyed it and came home with 18 lbs of blueberries in about two hours worth of picking!

Grampa Rollie and Braylon found a good spot with lots of "HUGE ONES," as Braylon would say.

Wyatt stayed in his stroller with the cool pack on his back for most of the time, but the last 45 minutes or so, I let him get out and walk around. He even picked some berries and ate a few.

Galveston

This past weekend, we went to Galveston with my parents, my sister and her family, and my two cousins, Cody and Andy, with their families. Braylon went a day ahead of us with Nana and Papa, so he got to play putt-putt, shop for cool gifts and eat at the strand. We all had fun at the pool with a cool waterfall and swim-up bar, riding rides and playing games at the pier, playing at the beach, and eating yummy food. My favorite part was seeing Wyatt love his first time on the beach, and Braylon being his daredevil self and wanting to go further and further out into the ocean with Daddy.
Braylon and Mabry were best buddies for the weekend, and got along so well. She is my cousin, Andy's, daughter.

Brad's Father's Day

We got Brad a griddle that you can set on your grill to cook. I thought it would be great for cooking veggies, shrimp, bacon, eggs...all sorts of things. We gave it to him early so he could test it out. I think he likes it and will get a lot of use out of it :)

Attacked By Mosquitoes!

Poor Wyatt has another allergy...mosquitoes. We had noticed before that when he gets bit, they kind of swell up and have a knot under the skin. But it wasn't until he got a couple bites right next to each other in the temple and eye area, that we were concerned. His eye and temple swelled up and it took a day and a half to go down. We haven't ever put OFF on him because of his eczema and sensitive skin, but the doctor told me about OFF bracelets. We will have to try those and mosquito bomb/spray our yard to help prevent the poor little guy from getting eaten up and swollen again.

Last Day of School

Yesterday Braylon got to enjoy a Splash Day and Pizza Party at school. Wyatt even got in on the action. He splashed in the water table, crawled in the sprinkler, and played with bubbles. It was fun but kinda bittersweet, since it was his last day.

Wyatt Walks

Lil Red is starting to get more comfortable walking. He still mostly crawls but is walking much more now. Here's a video I took...

Backyard Pool

I took the boys swimming at the big pool last week with some friends.  They both had a blast, so we got a little pool for them to play in at home.
