Hayley's Shower

My friend, Hayley, is pregnant with her second girl. Her first daughter, Maddie, has been friends with Braylon for a couple years and also goes to school with Braylon. We honored mommy and baby Gabriella (due June 12th) this Saturday evening. We wanted to make it very special for Hayley, since she has been battling cancer and enduring chemo treatments throughout this pregnancy. Plus, she just deserves it regardless. We had her in tears, so I think it's safe to say she loved her shower.

I think all the guests had fun too. We made headbands for baby Gabriella, wrote sweet notes in the book Guess How Much I Love You?, and of course had lots of yummy food!

First Haircut

Wyatt's hair was starting to look a bit shaggy, so he got his first haircut on Easter Sunday (given by Mommy). I just trimmed up the back, around the ears, and a little from the front/bangs.

11 Months Old

Big Red turned 11 Months old yesterday. Our little guys is not so little anymore. He has his two top and two bottom teeth now, and is gradually starting to stand with no support.  I'm sure walking will be a couple months from now because he doesn't even try unless he has support. I guess I can't blame him when crawling is much quicker for now.

He sleeps from about 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m, and has switched over to whole milk now. He loves it! Some of his favorite things are:

Toy: cars & trucks
Food: hamburger steak, mainly meats
Place: kitchen (to pull out all the pots and pans) :)
Activity: racing brother down the driveway in his car

Double Playdate with the Blinka Boys

Last Friday, Brad flew to California to drive Rollie back home.  Since he was gone and my sweet friend, Lauren, was also without her husband for a few days, I invited them over to play and have dinner Friday night.  Her son, Gunner, is the same age as Braylon, and her baby, Kannon, is only about three weeks younger than Wyatt.  It was cute seeing both boys with their friends.  We all had a great time eating hot dogs, mac-n-cheese, watermelon, ice cream cones and playing outside all evening.  Hopefully, we will get to do it again soon!!

Cowboy Up

This past weekend, the local fair and rodeo took place.  Brad gets box seats through his work, so we pulled on our boots, and took the boys to see their first rodeo Friday night.  Then we went back with my parents, my sister and her husband on Saturday night.  It was a nice family outing, and Braylon loved seeing the horses, cows, and cowboys. I'd say Braylon and Wyatt's first rodeo was a hit.
