Who Knew

Who knew a tent filled with tissue paper could be so much fun? I had to come up with a new indoor activity to keep Braylon entertained, since it was cold and wet outside today. This kept him occupied for at least an hour this morning. He dug for "treasure"(plastic rings I threw in there), and just had fun rolling around in the paper.

Dirty Boy

Can you see why I have to change this little buckaroo's clothes at least twice a day!?
Braylon loves throwing food to the fish and watching them pop up in the pond.

Diaper Shower

Friday night, some friends of mine threw me a baby shower.  We got lots of diapers, wipes, and a few other goodies. Thanks to my amazing friends for making it a perfect night!  Just wish I would have gotten a picture of the group :/

I'll say they definitely know my style, and the mason jars looked so pretty lit up at night.

Beautiful weekend

We had beautiful weather here in Huntsville this weekend,  so we enjoyed lots of time outside. Brad and I even got in some fishing out back Saturday night after we put Braylon to bed.  Other than fishing and playing, we got some yard work done, the dogs got a bath, and Braylon painted a bird house. We didn't want the weekend to end!

Puppy

Braylon loves our neighbors' puppy. He comes over everyday and pretty much stays all day.  As cute as he is, he sure can be a nuisance.   He has chewed up seat cushions, Braylon's toys, and a plant. He has tore up our grass, jumped on and scared Braylon's little friends, gotten into our dog food and woken Braylon up from naps with his barking. This is a good reminder of why I will not want a puppy anytime soon, but it sure is sweet to see how much Braylon loves him.

Zoo

This past weekend, Brad went to Illinois to visit his grandmother and celebrate her 90th birthday!  While he was gone, my mom came to visit.  We decided to take Braylon and Gage to the zoo.  The weather was nice, which made for a packed zoo.  After trying to find a parking spot for over 30 minutes, we finally got in and enjoyed ourselves.  The boys slept the whole way home, and enjoyed happy hour at Sonic when we got back to Huntsville. :)

Some small milestones for Braylon...

I finally discovered that Braylon has two new molars.  It's hard to tell now that he's older, because he won't really let you look in his mouth.  I had the feeling he was cutting teeth by the way he has been acting though.  He always gets clingy and doesn't eat or sleep well when he is teething.  It's no fun!  The other night I finally got the proof when he let me look in his mouth.  All it took was a Buzz & Woody vitamin to get him to cooperate :)

Another big thing going on with Braylon is that he is now officially enrolled in a pre-school.  On June 18th, he starts going one day a week from 8-1.  I'm excited for him, because I think he will really enjoy it.

Here's some pictures from today.  Braylon got to have his buddies, Liam and Jackson, over to play this morning.  They had fun playing with the water table!

Blue bonnets

Yesterday afternoon Braylon and I went for a walk down the street when we saw a good patch of blue bonnets.  This called for an impromptu photo session, where Braylon was happy to sit and smile for me (surprisingly).

Easter at the Jensons

We headed to Austin to spend Easter weekend with the Jensons, the Brandons, and Gramma Dar.  It was a lot of fun minus the screaming fits and poo-poo accidents from Braylon.  Oh yea, I don't think I mentioned yet that Braylon is no longer in diapers.  It's been just over a week and he has done great with number one, but still working on number 2 :)  a work in progress....

But anywho...Braylon loved seeing all his cousins and Gramma Dar.  He wanted her to push him on the swing all the time, and could be pretty demanding about it.  I don't think he ate one bit of food while we were there, except for some burger and fries from MIGHTY FINE.  YUM!  He was just having too much fun I guess.

We got to go to a Texas Stars hockey game Saturday night, and it was a lot of fun!  Braylon really enjoyed it even though he was up way past his bed time.  The box seats were nice since the kids had room to run around.

Braylon hunted about four eggs, then wanted to swing.  His sweet cousin, Brady was nice enough to fill up Braylon's basket, and even gave him some of his own eggs.

The Easter bunny brought Braylon a bubble gun and it was a big hit.

Headed back home....Braylon slept about 40 minutes and was great the whole way.

This was Braylon's first time to wear a baseball glove, and he even put it on the correct hand without any help.  I love how he's even holding it correctly with the other hand up by it.  Maybe he'll be the next Michael Young :)
