Transition

Braylon went through a stage where he woke up crying for us in the middle of the night and fought his naps.  To help him learn to fall asleep on his own and to soothe himself back to sleep, we spent the weekend letting him "cry-it-out".  He now will fall asleep on his own without crying if I put him in his crib while he's awake.  He no longer cries when I leave the room, and we don't have to go in his room in the middle of the night to put him back to sleep now.  What a relief!  He has slept with a "silky"(small blanket) for a while now, but we put Brad's old monkey in the crib with him to help comfort him.  It actually worked.  Here he is last night cuddling with the monkey.  It was cute.
If you look closely, you'll notice he's holding the monkey's hand.
