R.I.P. Ribeye(but thank you for your meat)

Ribeye, the cow, is no longer with us....sort of.  He has provided us with over 300 pounds of beef, including steaks, roasts, and ground meat.  From the looks of things, Ribeye was in good shape....

Not much marbling on that t-bone.

Braylon's New Swing Set

The left has the slide, swing, see-saw, rings,  and tire swing.  In the middle, there is a long bridge.  On the right is just a bunch of ladders with monkey bars going towards the back.

Below the slide area is a sandbox, which is empty and will stay that way.

Warmer Weather=Lots of Fun Outside

With all this sunshine and warmer temperatures lately, Braylon and I have really enjoyed being outside.



Braylon made a new friend at the park yesterday.  He loved chasing Abby around, and when he sees this picture he says "ABBY!" :)

Braylon and I spent a few days in Rockwall visiting family, while Daddy was hunting in South Texas.  We got there Thursday and had to visit Braylon's favorite park.



This girl on the scooter was a new friend Braylon made at the park. 

 Then Friday morning, we went to visit my cousin's wife and daughter, Mabry.  She's a cutie!

Friday night, Cody, Lindsay and Garrett came over for dinner.  Braylon had lots of fun rough housing with Garrett and Cody.

 Saturday morning, we headed over to my parents rental property to spruce it up for the new renters.  Braylon was helping Papa sweep the garage.

 

 Later that night, we went to Kyoto Hibachi Grill.  Braylon loved the fried rice and shrimp.

Pump It Up

The weather here lately has been very cold and wet, leaving us stuck inside most of the time. Yesterday we were thankful to get out of the house and have some fun at Pump It Up.  Braylon had a lot of fun!

Braylon was able to climb all the way up by himself, then slide down this massive slide.  That was his favorite thing to do  there.

Happy New Year!

Brad and I got to go enjoy an evening out alone, while Nana & Papa watched Braylon.  We went out for a nice dinner, then saw a movie.  It was a good end to an amazing year.  We are looking forward to what 2013 has in store for the Volker family.

Christmas Round 2

After Brad's family left, we conitnued on with more Christmas festivities that weekend when my family arrived.  We all went zip lining Saturday morning, then opened presents later that afternoon.  Braylon was more into opening gifts but still not that much.  He would just rather go play with the toy than keep opening presents.  The new Buzz, Woody, and Bullseye toys were a big hit.  He would take them to bed to sleep with them.  He also loves his dream-lite pillow which displays different colored stars on his bedroom ceiling.  He got some cool stuff!

 



Gage and Braylon are the only cousins on my side so far, but two more will be here by next Christmas:)  Baby Volker #2 and Baby Butler #1.



He was so eager to get his new Buzz out of the box!
