Halloween Party #1

This afternoon we went to our first Halloween party.  Braylon and I both had a lot of fun.  The kids enjoyed bobbing for apples, pinning the nose on the pumpkin, decorating masks and cupcake pumpkins, digging for spiders in Jell-O, eating snacks, and playing with all of Gage & Gunner's toys.  Braylon and his best friend, London, were inseperable, like usual!

Texas State Fair

Braylon and I joined my parents, sister and her husband at the Texas State Fair this weekend.  Braylon loved all the rides, food, and the Barnyard Circus.  We had a good time!


The swings were his favorite, but he also rode some flying elephants, the carousel, and a HUGE slide.



The Barnyard had all types of animals including buffalo, zebras, kangaroos, sheep, ducks, miniature ponies, and more.



He tore up a chicken tender basket and some cotton candy, but wouldn't touch a funnel cake.



Before we left Rockwall, we stopped to see my Granny Bonnie.  Braylon loved riding in her lap in the wheel chair.

7 Acre Wood

I had been wanting to take Braylon to this place nearby called 7 Acre Wood, and finally our playgroup had a playdate there yesterday.  Braylon loved it!  There's so many things for kids of all ages to do there.  Braylon's favorite was the petting zoo, but they also had putt-putt, a pumpkin patch, a big boat to climb on, playground, zip line, basket ball goals, and all sorts of cars and scooters.  We tagged along with Braylon's buddies, Gunner and Crosby.

Headed home- Braylon was trying to tickle Gunner's toes. :)

Around the House

It was a chili day last weekend, so we tried out Braylon's new dog beanie we got at the fair.

Braylon still loves getting on Daddy's tractor.

I'm sure the dogs don't appreciate you getting in their water bowl, Braylon.

SHSU Barnyard 2

SHSU Barnyard

The college had a Barnyard with all sorts of animals and activities for the kids to do last Wednesday.  Braylon got to pet goats, donkeys, large bunnies, ponies, llamas, and held a baby chick.  He also got to climb up on a big tractor, sit on a horse, and see some cows and longhorns.  He really enjoyed it, but didn't particularly love standing in the long line to get on the tractor.
