Finally!

We finally found out that Braylon's echocardiogram came back normal.  His little heart is just fine! :)

To Be Continued....

Braylon had his last test done on his heart Friday.  It was an echocardiogram, which is just an ultrasound of the heart.  It took about 30 minutes, and we were supposed to hear the results by Monday but we still haven't heard anything.  I couldn't wait any longer to post the pics, so here ya go. 

He had his blood pressure, height, and weight taken before the ultrasound.  He was all smiles and being a little flirt when the cute nurse was taking his blood pressure.  Wait just 30 more years Braylon!  He had to be completely undressed for the weight, so they gave him this robe to put on afterwards while we waited for the ultrasound to get started.



He finally got to nap on the way home, but woke up for a little bit when we stopped to grab some lunch.



Wedding Shower

This past weekend, we threw a wedding shower for my brother, Blake, and his fiance, Krista.  It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect!

So far, all of Braylon's tests on his heart have come back normal!  What a relief!  He has one more test, the echocardiogram, on Friday.  He also has had some episodes where he would tense up, stop breathing for a few seconds, then start crying hysterically.  I took him to the doctor twice, and the second time they finally gave him some medicine for acid reflux.  He started the medicine Friday and it seems to really be helping.  Thank goodness!

Another Visit to the Hospital for Braylon

Today we went and had all of Braylon's testing done for his heart murmur, which included a chest x-ray, an EKG, and a blood pressure test in his arms and legs.  All the nurses commented on how good he was, because he did not cry at all when supposedly most babies do.  And of course they all had things to say about his crazy hair! :) Now the only thing he has left to do is an echocardiogram, which has to be done in the Woodlands.

Mother's Day Weekend

2 month Checkup

Weight- 12lbs 1oz
Height- 24 1/4 inches
Head- 15 1/4 inches
Other:  Braylon had his shots today.  He actually handled them pretty well.  He screamed for a few seconds, then calmed down as soon as the nurse finished and I was able to hold him.  The doctor could still hear Braylon's heart murmur, so he recommended we get it checked out in case there's something more serious there that he's not hearing.  He set us up for an appointment at Texas Children's Hospital in the Woodlands to get an EKG.  Then he will also have his blood pressure checked in his extremities, an x-ray of his chest, and an echocardiogram(ultrasound of the heart) here in Huntsville.  Hopefully it all goes well and the murmur will not be an issue.  Say a little prayer for us.  Other than that, Braylon is a very healthy and happy baby!  We are so blessed :)
