Finally!

I was finally able to record Braylon rolling over!  He did it about five times yesterday, and it seems like he's got it down now.

Here's another one.  It happened so fast, I barely got it.

Major Milestone

Last Thursday night, Braylon managed to roll over from his stomach to his back twice!  He did the second roll-over while I was fumbling for the video camera, so I was unable to record it.  Hopefully he'll do it again soon so I can share the video.  It seems like he is just growing up so fast :)

Happy Easter!

It was Braylon's first Easter.  Nana, Gramma Dar, Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Jason, and Gage came over for an Easter egg hunt and dinner.

Tummy Time

Braylon has been getting stronger and better at trying to hold his head up.  Here's a video of him that I took last night.

It took him a little while to get goin', because this was the fourth or fifth time he lifted up.  He was getting tired!

Daddy's Boy



Braylon is growing like a weed!  He is over 10 pounds now and no longer fits in Newborn clothes and diapers.  He has started smiling back at us when we talk to him or sing to him.  This morning when I asked him if he wanted to go see Daddy at work, he gave me a big smile- wish I could have gotten that on camera!  He still has all of his hair with a cowlick in the back that does NOT want to stay down.  He stays awake for longer periods during the day- sometimes 3 hours at a time.  He sleeps in his bassinet in the room with us (Daddy still doesn't want him too far away:)- but naps in his crib during the day.  He will sleep from around 9pm to 1 or 2 am.  He will eat 4-6 ounces every 3 or 4 hours or so.  He really only cries when he's really tired or hungry, and he loves bath time every night.  Other than that, he is very attentive and looks around at everything...he really likes the animals above his changing table, pictures above our bed, ceiling fans, and faces.  I'm curious to see how he changes and grows in the weeks to come.

Lunch with Daddy

Braylon & I went to surprise Daddy with lunch at work today.  Braylon was dressed for work......without pants.  But who needs pants...

Braylon's new thing is putting his hand in his hair while he's sleeping.  He's got a handful of hair!

First Road Trip

We drove to Rockwall this past weekend to visit Nana & Papa and see some other family.  Braylon was, of course, the center of attention.  Lots of people came to see him-  My Aunt Glenda & Aunt Mary, Joey, Cody, Lindsay, Garrett, Andy, Mandi, Uncle Blake and Aunt Krista, and Swayze.  Braylon was so good being passed around to all these people and did good the whole trip.
